Fabriano filmfest to host ‘The Blue Bed’

Iranian short film ‘The Blue Bed’ is picked to participate in the Fabriano Film Fest (FFF) in Italy.

Written, directed and produced by Alireza Kazemipour, the short film will be competing at the International contest section of the Italian fest’s 9th edition.

The 14-minute film is the story of a girl who has taken an inappropriate path in her life and gets visitors at home.

But suddenly things start to change for her when a woman walks into her life.

‘The Blue Bed’ has been screened at a number of global events and won some awards, including the Best Directing award at the 10th Vancouver Short Film Festival in Canada.

The film has also received three nominations at the 2020 Leo Awards in Canada, including the Best Screenwriting Short Drama, Best Direction Short Drama, and Best Short Drama.

According to the official website of the event, the ‘short film language’ is the highlight of the FFF.

This year’s edition of the fest is slated for July 9-18.
